Seminar: “Selling Premium” at Marketplace Design Center (April 10, 2013)

Selling Premium : MDC

The home furnishings and interior design industries have been in a process of reinvention for the last few years. With “look-alike” knock-offs, coupled with the allure of better deals on the Internet and fueled by a troubled economy, designers and showrooms have been struggling to establish the value and cost of high-quality product with mixed results.

Selling Premium” is an interactive session that examines and answers three questions: What is selling? What is premium? What is selling premium? More than a dozen designers provided research on these three questions. Jody Seivert brings her perspective from more than 30 years of producing sales results in the industry and delivers crisp, clear applicable actions to designers who want to include high-quality items in their projects and sell them to their clients.

Come and see what you can add to your client inquiry or product presentation that will have your clients say “Yes!” to your premium product selections.

  1. I wanted to write you that bit of note to thank you very much over again for the beautiful tips you’ve discussed on this site. It is quite shockingly generous with people like you to offer publicly all a number of people would have marketed for an e book to get some money on their own, especially considering that you could have tried it if you considered necessary. The principles as well served as a great way to be aware that someone else have a similar desire just like my own to learn many more when considering this issue. I am sure there are thousands of more fun instances ahead for folks who look over your blog post.

    • You are most welcome and thanks for the expression of appreciation. Keep reading and share with others.
      Best, Jody

  2. Heya! I understand this is somewhat off-topic but I needed
to ask. Does operating a well-established blog like yours take a massive amount work?
I’m completely new to running a blog but I do write in my diary every day. I’d like to start a blog so
I can share my experience and feelings online. Please let me know if you
have any suggestions or tips for brand new aspiring bloggers.

    • I’m probably the wrong person to ask, because I blog weekly rather than daily. And I get my blog ideas from conversations that come up during coaching with designers, salespeople and sales leaders – which happen daily. And this conversation with you is another blog idea, so thank you!!! For now, just start jotting ideas down that you would like to write about – and speculate on who your audience would be.
Thanks for being in touch and please keep me posted! Cheers, Jody
